Shedding off the dust of a passive metropolis,
after the daily chase to survive.
After the threatening streets,
 after the manic, escaping torment.
Navigating a world that can be unkind.
A calico cat crouched low–half hidden in shadows, half revealed.
Sleepless survivor seeking a stretch of peace.
